Dr. Ted Margel
Dr. Ted Margel B.Sc., DDS graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 2002.
Upon graduation, Dr. Margel associated for two years in a large group dental practice in Toronto. This experience gave Dr. Margel the opportunity to closely work with specialists in the same office including an oral surgeon, periodontist and orthodontist where he collaborated on comprehensive dental cases.
In 2004, Dr. Margel went into solo practice at Yonge and St. Clair and spent more than five years building strong relationships with families in the Deer Park Community. He has grown his family dental practice to welcome patients of all ages including children, adults and seniors with a focus in aesthetics and preventive dentistry.
Dr. Margel is committed to countless hours of continuing education. He is a certified Invisalign provider for teeth straightening. He has received extensive hands on training in veneers and aesthetic dentistry. He has been trained and certified to surgically place dental implants. Dr. Margel is trained and liscenced to provide Conscious Sedation (laughing gas). Dr. Margel provides all general dental services to his patients.
Dr. Margel knows that each person he treats is an individual with unique needs and will provide the treatment best suited for that individual. Every patient is treated with the highest standard of excellence combined with compassion and exceptional service.
Dr. Margel is a member of several professional organizations including, The Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club, the Ontario Dental Association and The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
As of January 2010, Dr. Margel is proud to join the dental group of The St. Clair Dental Associates where he will continue to welcome new patients and families to join his growing practice.
Ted is married to his wife Ilyse and loves to spend time with his two young children, Charlie and Daisy. When Ted is out of the office he may be playing sports, canoe tripping, or up north at Camp Winnebagoe with his family, where his wife is the director of a children's overnight summer camp.
