Dr. Daniel Gibbs
Dr. Gibbs Graduated from University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 1982. Awarded the Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club Award. Upon graduating, set up practice in Toronto. His main focus was to learn and provide every dental procedure needed to meet his patients' needs. He started restoring implants in 1988 after completing the Nobel course at the University of Toronto. He quickly began to complete complex restorative cases and challenging cosmetic cases. In March of 2000 Dr. Gibbs successfully completed the implant surgical course to place implants for his own patients. This was a unique opportunity to place and then restore implants for patients without any referral to an outside specialist.
In 2002, he successfully completed the Level 2 implant surgical course including bone grafting and sinus lifts and since then has attended many different implant related courses. Currently he is a member of the Crown and Bridge Study Club and Toronto Cosmetic Implant Study Club.
Dr. Gibbs has been placing implants both for single and multiple use for over 12 years. He has taken many courses with different implant systems, including Zimmer Dental and has been a referral for other dentists who suggest that their patients to get implants. He has taken courses in connective tissue grafting and periodontal surgery, notably connective tissue surgical course provided by the Perio Institute in 2006.
Dr. Gibbs is excited to be a part of the St. Clair Dental Associates team of dental professionals to provide the highest level of care to their patients.
